The Golden Lion
A Basingstoke pub, est. 1799, on goldenlionbasingstoke.co.uk: cask ales, live sport, live music, and party enquiries in one mobile-friendly page.
The Golden Lion had strong local trade and social presence, but no website when Tracy wanted a proper home for the pub online. Guests needed opening details, a clear view of sport and live music, and a simple way to enquire about private hire without chasing Facebook messages.
We built a single-page site from the client's approved design: a warm hero with the pub exterior, a What's On section for fixtures and events, and a party enquiry form that emails Tracy directly. Navigation stays on one scrollable page so regulars can check hours on their phone at the bar. After launch we refined mobile layout with hamburger nav, a tighter feature strip, and a stacked footer for small screens.
The Golden Lion is live on goldenlionbasingstoke.co.uk. Party leads go straight to Tracy's inbox. The site is hosted and cared for by UF Labs.
